Pro Media Gear cage

March 30, 2017 • Gear Talk

Fort Collins, CO. portrait

Awhile back I picked up a Pro Media Gear cage for my Elinchrom ELB400.  Sometimes you get a new piece of gear, and you use it a few times.  And then there is new equipment you use all the time.  The Pro Media Gear cage for the ELB400 is something I use all the time.  Why?

Because it is so versatile.  First, I can mount my ELB400 right onto my lightstand.  The cage has a bracket that attaches the pack as high as I want, which keeps if off the muddy or snowy or wet or dusty ground.  Very nice.  And the second feature I really like is the ability to attach a flash head to the cage.  Where ever my pack is positioned, I can attach a flash head to it without needing another light stand.  If you are shooting the ELB400, check out this piece of gear.  You won’t be disappointed.
