Lightroom just keeps getting better and better. When Adobe announced Super Resolution for Photoshop, people were impressed. This new feature greatly increased the size of your image, with really good results. So after heavily cropping that wildlife photo, you could still have enough file size for a decent print. The new LrC update adds this to Lightroom. Just go to the menu and hit Photo-Enhance-Super Resolution. You can read my earlier post on super resolution here.
But there is more! Another really great addition are all the new presets in the Develop Module. There are fantastic new portrait presets worth checking out if you photograph people. The good news is as you roll your cursor over the preset the image reflects the change in the navigator window. There are also new travel, cinema and vintage presets as well. Now instead of going to your favorite plugin check out the presets already in LrC.
