I’ve been talking about how useful multiple exposure is for years, and finally got the chance to produce a story for Nikon at Learn and Explore. For years multiple exposure seemed like a party trick…you just weren’t going to use it for much, But when I started lighting scenes using one speedlight in 6 different spots during a ME sequence, I started seeing the potential. I could create silky water in rivers, stretch clouds out across landscapes, and create interesting double exposure portraits. Mirrorless opened up even more potential since I could see each frame in the EVF at reduced opacity during the sequence, which helped with overlaying the images.
