Elinchrom Pro HD ELC 1000 strobic mode

May 9, 2014 • Blog

skyskate1s

I have been shooting a lot with the Elinchrom ELC 1000s, and they continue to impress.  One feature they offer is a strobic mode that allows you to set the duration and frequency of a series of strobe bursts.  You need a long exposure of 1 second or longer for enough time, but this is not a problem in a dark room or at twilight.  I shot this skateboarding sequence at twilight in a local skatepark.  I use my 2000 watt Honda generator in situations without AC, and it works perfect.  Next up are dancers!
