Cree and I have been shooting together for 30 years, she has been a major part of many of my published images and stories throughout the years. And she has assisted and produced on numerous Nikon assignments, including some memorable moments shooting underwater in the Virgin Islands (ask me about it over a beer!).
I was very excited to hear that Nikon used her Z8 image in Cornell’s premier ornithology publication, Living Bird. Not only did they use the image, it was published as a double truck, meaning the ad took up two facing pages in the magazine. The image was taken in January in Alaska. She was using the new 600mm F6.3 PF with the Z8. A flock of Bohemian waxwings was feeding on some crab apples. Using the new bird eye detection on the Z8 she was able to get a number of nice images.
Always exciting to your work in print. Congrats to Cree!
