As many of you know, Popular Photography closed it doors earlier this year. One of the longest running photography magazines, it was a shock to see them close down shop. Along with shutting down the magazine, the long running Mentor Series photography workshops also will be ending this year. I have been teaching for the Mentor Series for 12 years, and have met many great people and have tons of fond memories. I’ve traveled everywhere from Egypt to Japan to Antarctica with the Mentor Series, including St. Vincent and the Grenadines where the image at top was taken.
I have one more workshop left with the Mentor Series, a flash workshop in Chicago. Many workshop participants ask me about flash and how to learn more, so here is a great opportunity. Right now this trip has a $200 discount if you use the code MC200 when you sign up. One last chance to learn some flash with days loaded with photographing models and learning about speed lights.
