Alaska is our second home…Cree and I lived there for over a decade, and we continue to make numerous trips each year for assignments and workshops. Last summer we had a fantastic shoot for the Mat-Su visitor bureau. One day on the shoot we loaded up a helicopter with models and flew into very remote areas to photograph. The great thing about a helicopter is if you see a scenic spot, you can just ask the pilot to land there (if it is safe). Our pilot landed near turquoise glacier pools, narrow ridges and valleys loaded with lupine flowers. We had an incredible day of photography, and one of the images made the 2022 brochure cover. Always great to see your work in print on a cover!
